The Ottawa Fury men’s team is off to the PDL Eastern Conference championship.
The Fury booked its ticket with a 6-0 win over GPS Portland Phoenix in the Northeast Division final Tuesday night at Algonquin College.
Carl Howarth had a hat trick for Ottawa, Carlo Basso notched two goals and Eddie Jones added a single as the Fury advanced to the four-team Eastern Conference tourney this weekend in Ocean City, N.J.
With the win, the Fury extended its unbeaten streak to 10 games.
It was the second division-title game win in a row for the Fury against the Phoenix
